Humidifer removed for repairs

Thanks to a generous donation, we have been able to go ahead with urgent repair work to one of the organ's two humidifier units. These units are incredibly important, ensuring that the internal structures of the organ's wind system do not dry out and split in drier weather conditions.

The humidifier has been removed from the organ and transported north to the engineer's workshops for repairs. It will be re-installed in the summer when the organ receives its annual blower/humidifier maintenance visit.
